Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. has been awarded ISO 9001 : 2000 Quality Certification Accredited by UKAS, RVA, ANAB and NABCB.

The scope of certification covers processes for Business Development, Design and Engineering for Civil and Hydro – Mechanical works for Hydro – Electric Projects, facilitating and supporting execution of Projects by Providing the required resources, Contract Management and interaction with the clients.

These processes are monitored, measured and analyzed for identifying needs for continual improvement.

Year 2005 : CR1 Grading

Leading rating agency ICRA with CIDC has given “CR1” grade signifying “Very Strong Contract Execution Capacity” for Hydropower (EPC) contracts with average values of up to Rs. 2500 Crores and other contracts with values upto Rs 600 Crores. It also indicates the aggregate value of works to be executed within a year of upto Rs. 2000 Crores. It is the only engineering company in India to be assigned this grade so far.

Year 2005 : CT1 Grading

Leading rating agency ICRA with CIDC (The Construction Industry Development Council) has given “CT1” grade which indicates “Very Strong Project Engineering/Project Management Services Capacity”. The grading takes into account the group’s qualified and experienced human resources, strong familiarity and specialization in the hydropower sector supported by state - of - the art design engineering and planning system.
