JILIT & Jaypee Group
JILIT has set up the Wide Area Network of Jaypee Group called JPWAN through 29 SCPC VSATs and 150 TDM/TDMA VSATs using KU band on INSAT 3A that enables seamless data, voice and video connectivity between the various construction sites, Cement Dumps, Area Marketing offices and stock points as well as outside the organization, with a, state-of-the-art dedicated Hub located at Sahibabad, near New Delhi. At an approximate project cost was USD 2.4mn. this VSAT network is one of the largest private in India and the largest in Northern India.
The company has also installed/commissioned the campus network of 3 educational institutes of the Jaypee group. All three institutes have a network of about 7000 nodes and the installation base is 50 KM of fiber, 240 Cisco/3-Com layer 2/3 switches and SUN/Compaq/HP/IBM servers. These institutes are also connected to each other for voice/data/video through lease line network.
The company is currently involved in IT-enablement & installation and commissioning of IT and communication infrastructure stretching over a period of three years at an appx cost of USD 4.1 mn for the following ventures of the group
- Cement plants in Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat
- Thermal power plant in Madhya Pradesh
- Hydropower station at Vishnuprayag in Uttranchal.
