| JIL is presently involved in execution of works of twelve hydropower projects and two expressway projects at various sites. The aggregate power generation capacity of the projects, where JIL is involved in construction either as an EPC contractor or as a contractor for packaged contracts is 9,740 MW. These works include EPC Contract for the 300 MW Chamera (Stage-II) Hydroelectric Project in Himachal Pradesh awarded to consortium of JIL and SNC/Acres Inc., SNC Lavalin/Acres Transnational and GE Canada. JIL is the leader of the consortium and responsible for all Civil and Hydro-Mechanical (HM) works and erection of Electro-Mechanical (EM) equipment. The project is nine months ahead of schedule and the first unit is under spinning trials. The two expressway projects include Taj Expressway Project envisaging construction of 6 lane access controlled 160 km long expressway from Noida to Agra on left bank of river Yamuna. |

JIL owns construction plants, machinery and equipment worth over Rs. 890 crore (US$ 190 million) and has work force of over 30,000 including engineers, managers, administrators, foremen, supervisors, operators, technicians, skilled and unskilled workers. |
