The Canal Head Powerhouse is part of the Sardar Sarovar (Narmada) Project in Gujarat.The head available from the Vadgam Saddle Dam will be utilized for power generation by this powerhouse.The canal head powerhouse is 141.0m in length and 100.0m in width and 46.0m in height.The principal quantities of work have been included with the Vadgam Saddle Dam Jaiprakash Associates Limited is also undertaking the following activities as part of the Sardar Sarovar (Narmada) Project:
- Construction of Sardar Sarovar Concrete Gravity Dam
- Construction of Sardar Sarovar Underground Powerhouse
- Construction of Vadgam Saddle Dam
- Construction of 4 Rockfill Dams
